Literally the first time I've seen this since before I got my licence 5 years ago... In other news, I just turned 21. and have had a licence for 5 years. wow.
For all the 'Muricans, I'm pretty sure $0.98CDN / Liter = 3.10 USD / Gallon.
I am just so wow right now

I drive a 1993 Ford Ranger with a 4.0L V6, it gets 14 miles to the gallon. The last time gas prices were this low, my truck was brand-new

Happy birthday from me and OPEC!
Petrol (gas to you guys) has just gone to £1 per litre where I am ($1.52 to you) which is absolutely great.

Slightly more than 1/4 gallon... 0.2642 gallons. If you're really a "JDM fan" your gas tank is probably measured in liters, yo :p

I went and looked at a graph of historical gas prices in BC... gas was cheaper for a few weeks in 2008, and prior to that 2004 was a good year... and damn. That Ranger makes my 350Z look like an econobox :p

Thanks!
From my point of view that's a little steep... from yours, knowing what gas was like in Europe not that long ago, that's pretty great!
Personally, I'm pretty tempted to put two 650 liter tidy tanks in the back of the my (okay, the company's) F350 and drive down to the states until I find somewhere with gas under $0.50CDN / liter...

So Metropolis. Much Fritz. Lots disconcerting.

I did get 22 on the highway once. But it was a curvy highway and I was coasting for about 10 miles in neutral, losing and gaining speed as I went in and out of the curves. So that may explain that.

I hit 31 mpg once, drafting behind a semi doing only 105km/h... usually I get 26

I praise you for using metric, the one true system.
I hate you for cheap petrol. I'm still paying around ~$1.40 in AU.

Sorry fella. I just realised it was CDN$ and not USD$. My bad. So GBP£1 = CDN$1.82.
I think the highest I recall seeing it was GBP£1.51 (CDN$2.75) a litre though it may of been higher.

wow, the 4.0L in my jeep gets way better mileage than that, and it is basically as technically advanced as a tractor.

Well it has a single throttle body and has Mechanical Fuel Injection. Thats what happens
![]() 01/14/2015 at 13:40 |
